French skateboarder Lucas Puig and adidas Skateboarding continue their partnership with a new take on the in-line PUIG model, this time around coloring the sneaker in “Core Black/Cloud White/Gum.”

This colorway follows on from the inaugural trio of collaborative Palace sneakers and the first in-line “Ink” offering, and serves possibly the most wearable combination of colors to date.

The silhouette — which draws from British Terrace culture and elements of luxurious French fashion brands — combines a number of archival adidas references and plenty of technological nods. For example, the extended tongue is a riff of adidas Originals’ Samba Super, while the raised gum heel-sole component looks to vintage adidas running shoes. Tech comes in the form of adiTUFF abrasion protection and adiPRENE insoles that provide added comfort.

adidas Skateboarding and Puig finish the skateboarder’s eponymous sneaker with gold branding on the mid-panel alongside white leather zig-zag-cut Three Stripes, a gold branded stamp on the tonue, and lime green details on the outsole that add a touch of color to the heel, too.

Take a look at the Lucas Puig x adidas Skateboarding PUIG in Core Black/Cloud White/Gum” above, and pick up a pair for yourself from adidas’ website when they release on November 17. The sneaker is priced at $100 USD.
