The Nike Dunk Low Isn't Going Anywhere as Two 2021 Colorways Surface
Showing an Off-White™-esque “University Red” pair alongside a gray and navy offering.
The Nike Dunk Low is having an incredibly strong year having released in dozens of main-line and collaborative makeups, and now images courtesy of @repgod888 show that the silhouette should be sticking around for 2021. The elusive early sneaker collector shows off two pairs, namely an Off-White™-esque “University Red” pair with matte gray panels, and another gray pair with navy blue and red details.
When Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ made over the Nike Dunk Low, it was unlike anything the sneaker world had ever seen done to a Dunk before. However, as the images show, the upcoming “University Red” pair sports a very similar style bar the Off-White™-styled over lacing and obvious branding, as it features everything from the right colorway to a red outsole, red branding all around, and even a red sock liner like the now-sold-out pair.
Joining this is another Nike Dunk Low in gray and navy. Matte gray leather forms the base of the shoe while dark navy leather (that’s more supple and grained) intersects the panels by appearing on the perforated toe box, mid-panel, rear-quarter and heel. Elsewhere on this pair, you’ll spot red Nike embroidery on the heel, a white midsole, and a contrasting clear outsole.
Take a look at the Nike Dunk Lows above, and expect a release sometime in 2021.
In other news, a Tom Sachs x NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.5 has surfaced.
