Ty Dolla $ign Reveals Post Malone Collab Album Is "Coming Soon"
The pair have worked together twice in the last two years.
A collaborative album from Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone is on the way.
The announcement was made by the Los Angeles-born artist during a video interview with Korean publication HIPHOPLE. Sitting down in what looks like his home studio, Ty Dolla $ign didn’t reveal any information about the collab project at all and only said, “Posty and Ty Dolla $ign album coming soon,” followed by a laugh.
The two artists have collaborated on tracks before, namely “Pyscho” from Posty’s 2018 project beerbongs & bentleys and “Spicy” from Ty Dolla $ign’s latest studio album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
While Ty’s studio album has already been released, Malone is still working on Hollywood’s Bleeding followup. The “Sunflower” artist spoke to the Wall Street Journal Magazine in July 2020 and explained that “this has been a perfect time to make music, and to write songs about what’s going on currently,” referring to the quarantine protocols. “Honestly, for a songwriter to be in the house all day is a blessing and a curse. In the darkest of times I’m just trying to make something beautiful out of it,” he said.

Elsewhere in music, Westside Gunn has left Shady Records.
