Post Malone and Swae Lee's "Sunflower" Goes Diamond
The ‘Into the Spider-Verse’ soundtrack single has officially sold over 10,000,000 copies.
Post Malone and Swae Lee‘s collaborative track “Sunflower” has officially gone diamond, selling over 10,000,000 copies.
This marks the New York-born musician’s third diamond certification from the RIAA following “Congratulations” and “Rockstar.” Dre London, Malone’s manager, shared the announcement on Instagram with a motivating message: “I’m so proud of you @postmalone on your 3rd diamond Platinum Plaque! We’ve come so far staying on the right train our lane keeping focus like a camera lens! Set your goals high & don’t stop till you get there! The path from dreams to success really exists! #DreVision congrats @swaelee.”
“Sunflower” first dropped in October 2018 and appeared on the soundtrack of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse before landing on Malone’s 2019 LP, Hollywood’s Bleeding. Earlier this 2020, the track was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 62nd GRAMMYs.
