Founded in 2001, JULIUS‘ lengthy history has seen the brand’s stylistic cues evolve beyond designer Tatsuro Horikawa’s original vision, though its fans often pine for the collections of yore. In response to the burgeoning secondhand scene that cropped up to address these desires, JULIUS has introduced its own archival collection, Permanent, which is serving up more throwback styles for Spring/Summer 2021.
A concise assortment of familiar shapes inform this Permanent delivery, all executed in neutral blacks, greys and whites. Snug leather jackets, drapey cardigans, torn jeans and the fan-favorite Gasmask cargo pants are all on hand, served up in rugged denim and breathable cottons ideal for warm weather layering. Slouchy sweaters and shorts deliver a laidback counterpoint to the more directional warped parkas, black belts and tall leather boots, striking a balance between JULIUS’ militaristic, avant-garde and sporty inclinations.
Expect JULIUS’ stockists and web store to launch the SS21 Permanent line in the coming weeks.
