'Justice League: The Snyder Cut' Will Be Broken into 6 Chapters
Their titles were released Wednesday, after several indications from Snyder about a chaptered structure to the film.

Zach Snyder‘s Justice League: The Snyder Cut might be long, but the director has broken up his four-hour superhero epic into more manageable portions. The film, releasing on March 18 via HBO Max, will be organized into six chapters, revealed in a thread posted to the Zach Snyder’s Justice League Twitter account on Wednesday evening. Their titles are as follows:
- Part 1: “Don’t Count On It, Batman”
- Part 2: The Age of Heroes
- Part 3: Beloved Mother, Beloved Son
- Part 4: “Change Machine”
- Part 5: All the King’s Horses
- Part 6: “Something Darker”
Snyder has previously teased his intentions to break up Justice League, either as two separate films and or into a chapter organization; the movie was previously announced as having a four-part release structure during 2020 DC Fandome.
“The thing about the movie I think that’s interesting is that, the way I constructed the cut was, it’s 6 chapters, right,” Snyder said in an interview with TheFilmJunkee YouTube channel. “So, it was always this chaptered concept, you know, like where the first section says ‘Part 1’ and then you have this little section, and then ‘Part 2,’ and you have this other section, and then ‘Part 3,’ all the way through, six parts, and then epilogue. So the structure of the movie always sort of would’ve lent itself to [this.]”
A surprise epilogue could still be in store, but there will definitely be no trace of Joss Whedon’s scenes found in the upcoming cut.
