New Balance Brings Back A Grayscale 1500 Colorway From 2006
Sporting a minimal color palette that can pair well with any outfit.
The quantity of roll outs for the New Balance 1500 in 2021 has been fairly slim to say the least, but the SS21 season is looking up as the Made in England silhouette is now being spotlighted through a retro colorway. The sportswear imprint is now diving back into its 2006 archives to deliver new life to this minimally styled New Balance 1500 “Bringback”.
Understated in every sense of the word, this reissue is a 1:1 copy of its original and zeroes in on translating every inch of its greyscale elements. White perforated leathers make up the base, while solid black nubuck is pronounced along the mid-foot, heel and toe cap overlays as well as the mudguards. Hints of grey also disperse to the leather forefoot overlays, as well as the 1500 hits on the lateral heels, and New Balance branding positioned on the tongues and heels.
Midsoles keep the greyscale motif going by being primarily coated in white, while the ENCAP mold located at the lower back side splits between grey and black tones.
If you’re interested in adding these to your rotation, you can pick them up right now over at Hanon for £170.00 (approx. $238 USD).
