Krispy Kreme's "The Mars Doughnut" Is Available for One Day Only
Celebrating the epic landing of NASA’s Perseverance Rover on Mars.

Krispy Kreme is debuting its out-of-this-world Mars Doughnut for one day only.
The brand new offering arrives in celebration of NASA‘s Perseverance Rover making its epic landing on Mars this February 18. The sweet treat may be designed to look like the Red Planet, but it’s actually filled with Chocolate Kreme, dipped in caramel icing and sprinkled with chocolate cookie crumbs.
On top of being the first ever helicopter to be sent to Mars, the Perseverance Rover is also carrying almost 11 million names as part of the agency’s “Send Your Name to Mars” program. Krispy Kreme will commemorate these space “travelers” with one free Mars Doughnut each upon presentation of their NASA-issued Perseverance “boarding pass” when ordering.
“The landing of Perseverance on Mars will be an epic and important achievement,” Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said. “So, we’re celebrating the best way we know how: with an amazing new doughnut discovery right here on earth.”
The Mars Doughnut is available on February 18, 2021 only.
