Converse Drops Digi Camo Onto the Chuck 70 Hi
A modern spin on a popular archival Converse print.
After adding a traditional camo pattern to the Chuck 70 Hi via a collaboration with Carhartt WIP, Converse has augmented the high-cut classic with a modernized digi camo pattern. Retaining woodland camo-specific hues but trading out its abstract shapes for a pixelated pattern, this new high-cut Chuck 70 is a cleverly updated homage to a classic Converse look.
As is par for the course on the Chuck 70 Hi, uppers are made entirely of durable-yet-flexible canvas. From front to back, this canvas is coated in a three-tone digi camo pattern that blends brown, tan and olive. A signature black and white Converse badge is present on the lateral collar, and a high-gloss cream rubber toe cap works with cream laces and shiny silver eyestays to provide contrast. The toe cap’s tan hue is replicated on the midsole, which is given flair of its own by two traditional black foxing stripes and a black heel badge. Original brown rubber outsoles finalize the look.
This digi camo-covered Chuck 70 Hi is available on the Converse webstore now, and is priced at a standard $85 USD.
