Cozy up at Home With adidas Originals' adilette Clogs
The “Core Black/Silver Metallic” pair draws design cues from the adilette slide and (maybe) the Superstar.
Today, being comfy while working from home is of utmost importance, and nothing says cozy like a pair of slip-ons. Welcome then, to adidas Originals‘ latest adilette clog, this time around appearing in “Core Black/Silver Metallic.”
Like the previous pair, this easy-on, easy-off style appears in a classic Three Stripes colorway that’s commonly found on its signature Superstar sneaker. The base draws from the adilette slide, sporting an upper made from a synthetic rubber-like material alongside metallic silver stripes on the lateral and medial sides.
The footbed is made from EVA and is contoured to the shape of your foot for added comfort and support, while the stripe cut-outs on the vamp (which aren’t too dissimilar to those on the Superstar’s shell toe) proffer a sporty, almost pool-side aesthetic.
Typically with an affordable slip-on, not much else is going on in terms of detail. adidas branding on the lateral side-wall, at the top of the vamp, and on the footbed appear, rounding out the clog’s look.
