Concepts Has Another New Balance 57/40 Collaboration on the Way
Sporting multi-colored panels and gradient “N” logos.
New Balance has partnered with many a streetwear boutique as 2021 has run its course, one of them being Concepts in which the two parties presented a duo of footwear collaborations. After presenting a 57/40 makeup that honored the storied rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees and a 992 “Low Hanging Fruit” colorway, the two are slated to reunite in 2022 to launch another Concepts x New Balance 57/40 collaboration. Official info about the kicks has yet to be released, but we do have a first glimpse at the kicks.
The top halves of this lifestyle iteration is built with mesh, premium leather and suede materials. Clean white leather materials cover quarter panels and overlays on the forefoot while forest green mesh makes out the toe boxes and collars. The oversized “N” logos are fitted with a navy blue to white gradient, and the rear end’s multiple suede overlays are styled with yellow, orange and navy accents. Double layered midsole pieces are mostly wrapped with a white paint job but feature small notes of orange towards the mid-foot and heels. Rounding things off is the treading which is covered in a solid black hue.
