Previously teased early last month, official images of the Stray Rats x New Balance 991 have surfaced on the internet. The duo reunites once again for another collaboration following the 574 capsule collection as well as an 827 edition.

This latest joint effort consists of two colorways that follow in theme with the past releases constructed in a combination of purples and greens. Taking on a classic silhouette, both are outfitted in a mix of velvet, suede and leather with reflective details hitting the toebox, lower tongue, ankle collar and heel tab along with an embroidery of the Stray Rats branding on the forefront. One pair opts for a shape up in brown, grape purple, tan and dark brown along with a pastel green hue lining the interiors and outlining the yellow “N” logo on the laterals. A two-toned midsole of grayish blue and purple is sealed off with a black rubber outsole to complete the look. On the other side of the collection is a stark black rendition with pops of tan, gray and purple.

Look out for the Stray Rats x New Balance 991 duo to release globally on December 17  via New Balance and select global retailers. Retail price is set at $250 USD.

In case you missed it, ASICS dropped a trio of fresh NOVABLAST 2 colorways.
