Back in April, A$AP Nast and Reebok linked up for a Classic Leather Legacy rendition for the sportswear brand’s 2020 ‘Write Your Legacy’ campaign and now the duo is back again with their latest installment of the Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge. This offering opts for a more vibrant and technical construction in comparison to the first joint effort.

The silhouette grabs natural and futuristic elements and fuses them together to express his affinity for style and design coinciding with the rap culture of today’s day and age. The shoe starts off with a Vector Red textile base with a grid print reminiscent of Spiderman’s suit while black suede overlays are stitched across the shoe in yellow and purple thread. Yellow rope laces loop around a fuzzy black tongue with a toggle for a quick suit-up. The sunshine hue continues to accent the Floatride Fuel midsole equipped with a Zig Energy Shell to provide more cushioning and stability over a Vibram Ecostep lugged outsole made of 30% minimum pre-consumer recycled content.

“You kinda have to have the full package to make it now,” explained Nast. “People don’t wanna listen to rappers who don’t have good style.”

Along with the release, Nast and Reebok will be minting their second limited-edition collaborative NFT collection with more details to come on November 29 at 10:00 am EST via Reebok’s Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The A$AP Nast x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge will be available for $150 USD exclusively on Reebok’s website by November 26 before a global release on November 27 via select retailers.

In case you missed it, Sneaker Garden debuted a pop-up shop on Melrose.
