Nike ACG Air Mowabb Receives a Muted "Off Noir" Makeover
Complete with hints of olive green and gray speckles.
When Nike practices bringing back some of its retro silhouettes, it tends to have a tradition of releasing its memorable OG colorways first, and then later on rolling out modernized takes. And that’s definitely been the case for the ACG Air Mowabb — a model that in 2021 is celebrating its 30th anniversary — and to keep its momentum trucking along, the Swoosh has just brought word that it will be dropping in a new “Off Noir” colorway.
Unlike its throwback “Rattan Birch” and “Gravity Purple” colorways, both of which feature a more colorful presentation, this latest offering to emerge skews to the darker side of the spectrum. Designed with a rather understated motif, this mid-cut installment wraps its nubuck side panels, perforated toe boxes, ankle bootie and heel cages with an “Off Noir” hue. Muted “Olive Green” accents then accompany by splashing onto the collars, tiny forefoot Swooshes, ACG-branded triangles and the tongue logos, while the “Nike Air” spell out that lands on the heels contrast with a dark gray. Midsoles usher in their customary speckled wallpaper which is executed in a dark gray while a solid black tone outfits the midsoles.
No release date has emerged for these just yet but you can likely expect them to launch in the coming months via Nike for $160 USD.
For other sneaker news, the Nike Dunk Low Scrap has been revealed in “Black Gum.”
