The post by the Houston rapper showcases a news-style front page with a gremlin-like version of Scott and the headline “The True Dystopia Is Here!” Also, appearing on the front page is “When The End Arrives Its Really The Begining” and the question “Who knows what lies beneath the surface?” It is unclear whether the forthcoming music is a single track or a collection of songs, but Scott did announce that new music is dropping at midnight EDT.
The surprise comes ahead of Scott’s Astroworld Festival and is sure to get fans hyped about the star-studded event that begins Friday, November 5 and concludes Saturday, November 6. Featuring performances by SZA, Young Thug, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, 21 Savage, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lil Baby, Don Toliver, Master P, Toro Y Moi, Chief Keef, Metro Boomin, Baby Keem and more, day one of the festival will be live-streamed by Apple Music.
