Peggs & Son. Taps Armor Lux For Autumnal Maritime-Inspired Collaboration
Featuring fresh takes on the Breton shirt and sailor sweater.
Brighton-based retailer Peggs & Son. has teamed up with French heritage brand Armor Lux to rework a selection of the latter’s iconic nautical-themed apparel.
Founded in 1938, Armor Lux became made its name in northern France when it found itself creating maritime clothing for local sailors and fishermen. Soon Armor Lux was considered as one of the icons of quintessential French style, thanks to the Breton shirt, Sailor sweater and Fisherman’s smock, to name a few.
Over 80 years later, the brand teams up with menswear store Peggs & son. for a nine-piece capsule that celebrates the brand’s heritage and sees the pair reimagine traditional garments in a variety of autumnal hues.
From striped T-shirts and plain takes, to heavyweight heritage sweaters, the full Peggs & son. x Armor Lux capsule is available to buy now from the former’s online store.
In other news, JJJJound and BRUT has linked up for a limited-edition reclaimed denim capsule.
