There’s collaborations galore that are being pumped out by New Balance right now as they have team-ups with the like of Joshua Vides, Todd Snyder and Concepts coming, but the brand is now reverting back to their in-line offerings to reveal a heritage-inspired 990v4 colorway. This release serves as a follow-up to the 990v3 iteration that released earlier this Fall.
For those of you who fancy when the Boston-based imprint makes use of its signature grey color schemes for its lifestyle models, this pair certainly gets the job done. The upper build is formatted with the traditional mesh underlays that is supplemented with sultry suede overlays and reflective “N” logos. All of these components call upon the classic shades of grey color-blocking and get seated next to that usual white laces. The main difference on this installment that separates it from the original are the splashes of red accents which arrive via the “Version 4” tab that hangs just below the collars as well as arrives on the American flag logos that rest atop the tongues. Down below the midsoles are stuffed with ENCAP cushioning to give wearers a cloud-like sensation.
You can find this pair dropping via New Balance come November 12 for $185 USD.
In case you missed it, this new New Balance 57/40 makeup has been lined with CORDURA.
