Thanksgiving week is finally here, and as we all prepare to spend the holiday with our loved ones, stuff ourselves with turkey and mashed potatotes and get our wallets ready for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday craziness, your most revered sneaker brands are also readying a wide array of new sneaker releases. Over the next seven days, we’re going to see brands like Jordan Brand, Nike and adidas roll out some heat, but before we give you details on these drops, let’s travel back in time and take a closer look at all of the most striking sneaker news that emerged last week.

For exclusive features, HYPEBEAST’s Sole Mates series kept its momentum rolling via a pleasant interview with Sporty & Rich’s Emily Oberg about her association with the adidas Samba. Several brands generated a hefty amount of noise last week on the news front, one of which was Nike. The folks from the Swoosh family finally unveiled G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1, release info for Patta’s Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon,” the Nike Dunk High “Moon Fossil” and the frill-covered Dunk Low “Valentine’s Day” colorway. Jordan Brand had some major items to uncover as well including a special Air Jordan 1 FlyEase PE for Make-A-Wish Patient Jordan Carranza as well as a winter-appropriate Air Jordan 1 Acclimate in white and silver.

The team at adidas brewed up some buzz as well by revealing a Samba “Sarlacc Pit” colorway that nods to Boba Fett’s Escape from Star Wars in addition to a first look at Ye’s adidas YZY QNTM “Amber Tint” colorway. Other brands such as New Balance and Crocs made their presence felt as well, the former of which revealed fairway-ready 997G makeups with Malbon and 991 collabs with Stray Rats while the latter officially showed off Salehe Bembury’s Pollex Clog iterations.

Now that we’ve got you all caught up on the action, let’s break down Thanksgiving week’s top 10 footwear drops. And when you’re finished, be sure to head over to HBX to check out more footwear styles.

A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG

Release Date: November 24
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: A Ma Maniére
Why You Should Cop: James Whitner and the team over at A Ma Maniére are always very meticulous about their footwear collaborations in terms of the actual details of the shoes, the roll out, the campaign etc. And on deck for the streetwear imprint is a luxe take atop the popular Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. The shoes come color-blocked with cracked leather uppers dressed in “Sail” while rich burgundy accents land on the snakeskin-covered Swooshes, collars and laces to make for a tastefully-designed assemblage that nods to the realities of daily life in Black communities.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon”

Release Date: November 24
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Netherlands-based entity Patta and Nike have been coming hard this Fall with the footwear collaborations, and next up on their agenda is the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon” colorway. The pair already received its official release alongside its matching apparel last week, but for those who couldn’t cop, be sure to set your alarms because they’re about to receive a wider release on SNKRS.

Air Jordan 11 “Animal Instinct”

Release Date: November 26
Release Price: $225 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS and Sneaker Politics
Why You Should Cop: The holiday season is when Jordan Brand tends to bring out more Air Jordan 11 offerings, and before the brand executes the long-awaited return of the “Cool Grey,” it’s first taking a moment to introduce a modernized makeup for the ladies. On deck is the Air Jordan 11 “Animal Instinct”
— a wild colorway that sees the classic silhouette remixed with cheetah and zebra patterns applied to its mudguards.

adidas YEEZY 500 “Utility Black”

Release Date: November 26
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: adidas and Yeezy Supply
Why You Should Cop: Kanye West will often provide restocks of his most coveted YEEZY colorways, and this week, we’ll be seeing the return of the adidas YEEZY 500 “Utility Black.” This variation originally saw a launch back in 2018 and now it’s returning in all of its original glory. From the mesh and suede uppers to the adiPrene-cushioned bottoms, this rendition is treated with an all-black finish.

Nike Air Huarache “Praline”

Release Date: November 26
Release Price: $120 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS and Sneaker Politics
Why You Should Cop: To keep the Nike Air Huarache’s 30th anniversary celebrations going, the Swoosh family is digging back into the archives to bring back one of the silhouette’s classic makeups: the “Praline” colorway. The shoes are designed with a Fall-appropriate brown leather nubuck and purple neoprene booties, and they come packaged with a hang tag that reads “Limited Edition.”

Nike Dunk Low “University Gold”

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $100 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS and Sneaker Politics
Why You Should Cop: There are several weeks left of Fall left to go, and Nike is looking to squeeze out every ounce of it with sneaker colorways that align with the season. Next up on its roster is the Nike Dunk Low “University Gold” — an impending colorway for the ladies that is outfitted with an Autumnal palette of orange overlays, gilded Swooshes and “Laser Orange” treading.

KAWS x sacai Nike Blazer Low “Team Red”/”Neptune Blue”

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $140 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Three-way sneaker team-ups have been the move for Chitose Abe and her sacai imprint, and this week she’s adding a duo of KAWS collaborations. The Brooklyn-based artist has linked up with sacai and Nike to produce striking “Neptune Blue” and “Team Red” colorways, both of which are louder color-blocking and his signature “XX” branding debossed into the midsoles and tossed onto the tongues.

adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Fade Azure”

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $250 USD
Where to Buy: adidas and Yeezy Supply
Why You Should Cop: Kanye West is determined to roll out as many YEEZYs as he can before 2021 comes to a close, and one of the pieces that is part of his Fall release calendar is the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Fade Azure.” This is arguably the loudest 700 installment to-date as the base layer is mostly coated with its titular hue. A splash of royal blue gets distributed to the forefoot window while orange and teal hits drape the BOOST-cushioned midsoles to complete its aquatic motif.

A$AP Nast x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge

Release Date: November 27
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: Reebok
Why You Should Cop: Earlier this year, A$AP Nast made the decision to cease his collaborative projects with Converse and join the Reebok family. After kicking off his partnership with a Classic Leather Legacy iteration, the well-dressed artist is now applying his touch to the Zig Kinetica II Edge. His newest creation comes lined with black warped patterns across the upper, bold red backdrops and louder yellow accents sprinkled across the base. Vibram sole units also provide wearers with ample traction and cushioning.

Air Jordan 3 “Patchwork”

Release Date: November 29
