Official Images of the NBA x Nike Dunk Low EMB "Knicks"
Spike Lee would certainly appreciate these.
This forthcoming NBA season marks the league’s Diamond anniversary, and to celebrate 75 years of basketball entertainment and excellence, it’s aligning with Nike to produce a slew of sneaker collaborations. Various colorways of the collection are styled to match that of certain teams, and after officially unveiling the makeups that are dedicated to the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls, a Nike Dunk Low “Knicks” colorway has just emerged by way of official imagery.
Being that Madison Square Garden is dubbed “The Mecca” of basketball, it’s only right that the league fashions an installment in the team’s honor. Uppers are engineered with a smooth leather build, and allow notes of black to cover the toe boxes, quarters, tongues and collars. Knickerbocker-inspired accents then take center stage as a team-inspired orange swathes the overlays closest to the throat and on the forefoot while “Racer Blue” hits spruce up the Swooshes and heel overlays. For extra contrasting, gray hits position themselves on the heel overlays and liners. Like its collection siblings, the tongues on this makeup have been remixed with the NBA’s 75th Anniversary logo.
Retailers like BTSN are slated to drop these come October 19 for $100 USD.
In case you missed it, Nike revealed a duo of Air Force 1 Lows for its “Athletic Club” assemblage.
