Buckle Up for 1017 ALYX 9SM's Next Duo of Exclusive Nike Air Force 1 High Collaborations
Coming soon in “University Red/Black” and “Black/University Red” palettes.

Earlier this Summer, 1017 ALYX 9SM and Nike continued its footwear partnership with the release of a duo of minimally-styled Air Force 1 Highs, and now the two parties are choosing to broaden their portfolio with two more iterations of the very same model. Matthew M Williams — the brand’s founder and current creative director of Givenchy — has a penchant for utilizing neutral tones in his products, but he strays away from that for this capsule as “University Red” accents are the focus.
The first pair in this assemblage is the “University Red/Black” option, and it’s without a doubt the louder iteration of the bunch. Uppers are once again formed with a premium leather, and come stylized with “University Red” toe boxes, overlays, tongues, laces and collars while notes of black show up on the Swooshes and the ankle buckles that are signature to the NY-based label. “1017 ALYX 9SM” branding makes its way to the lower lateral heels with a golden finish while the bottom units are also drenched in more red.
Its release sibling essentially makes use of the same exact hues but in flipped fashion. Achieving a slightly more understated ensemble, the kicks dye most of its leather base layers and sole pieces in solid black, and allow the “University Red” accents to splash onto the buckles and Swooshes. Like its launch partner, the 1017 ALYX 9SM notations also come dressed in gold.
ALYX is hosting an exclusive raffle for these starting October 19 at 6pm CET to Thursday October 21 at 6pm CET.
Elsewhere in footwear, the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape has been unveiled in a trio of new colorways.
