The 'Evangelion' x © SAINT M ×××××× Collab Introduces "Saint Shinji"
The latest collaboration from Yuta Hosokawa and Cali Thornhill Dewitt’s standout label.
Following the release of its Fall/Winter 2021 collection, Yuta Hosokawa of and Cali Thornhill DeWitt‘s © SAINT M ×××××× (Saint Michael) label has returned with its latest collaboration. This time around the standout imprint has teamed up with RADIO EVA, an emerging project launched to spread the concept of “Evangelion that blends into everyday life.”
Celebrating the spreading influence of the anime franchise, the duo put together a crewneck sweater release that introduce “Saint Shinji.” Marked by vintage processing, the sweatshirt features a worn effect that highlights Shinji Ikari’s Evangelion Unit-01 on the front and the Spear of Longinus on the sleeves. Finishing up the design of the crewneck is a phrase from the final episode of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series and various © SAINT M ×××××× markings.
© SAINT M ×××××× and RADIO EVA have also shared a special illustration showing Shinji wearing the collaborative piece set in Los Angeles, California to mark the special release.
Priced at ¥49,500 JPY (approximately $433 USD), the Evangelion x © SAINT M ×××××× “Saint Shinji” Crewneck Sweater will be available at select © SAINT M ×××××× retailers and on the RADIO EVA Online Store October 23.
