Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Brotherhood"
A nod to Michael Jordan‘s fraternity Omega Psi Phi.

When Michael Jordan was a student at the University of North Carolina, he dazzled crowds with his athleticism and incredible shot making abilities. But away from the hardwood, the GOAT hooper also participated in some on-campus organizations such as the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. And in an effort to honor the fraternity as a whole, especially his beloved Omicron Alpha chapter, he’s crafting a special Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” colorway in their honor.
The African American-focused fraternity that was founded in 1911 has signature colors of purple and “University Gold” and these are directly translated onto the classic silhouette. The former touches up the Swooshes, collars, laces, ball-and-wings logos and the overlays that neighbor the throat and wrap around the toes, while the latter is arranged onto the toe boxes, ankle flaps, tongue banners and lower heels. A crisp white hue sees its way to the quarter panels and tongues for some brighter contrasting. Downstairs, the midsoles are formatted with angelic finish while the sole units are sprayed with more “University Gold.”
Reports have the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” dropping on February 26 for $170 USD but Nike has not yet confirmed this. In case you wanted to cop a pair now, GOAT is stocked with early pairs.
