Reebok Expands its Zig Kinetica Franchise with The Futuristic Zig Kinetica II
Arriving in highly detailed “Digi-Scape,” “ARS” and “Digi-Warp” colorways.

Reebok‘s retrofuturistic Zig Kinetica line has begun a new chapter with the launch of the Zig Kinetica II. First debuted in the spring of 2020, the Zig Kinetica franchise combined a high-concept upper with a three-piece cushioning setup that expounded upon and modernized Reebok’s ZigTech cushioning system from 2010. Now, the Zig Kinetica II is taking that ethos even further by offering a stripped-back build, bright color schemes, and even more visible technology.
The Zig Kinetica II’s upper is made of a thin-yet-strong synthetic material, overlaid by wavy lines for extra style and support. Bold throats and tongues add a little retro flair, and, down below, the Zig Kinetica II’s pièce de résistance is supplied by its midsole tech. Taking the wavy lines of the upper and repurposing them across the multi-piece build for a striking look, this midsole is assembled from three main components: Floatride Fuel foam, Zig Energy Bands and a Zig Energy Shell. The first is nestled directly under the foot for comfort, the second enables the outsole to expand and contract for energy return and the third provides durability and protection by housing the aforementioned Floatride Fuel foam.
If you’re looking to get into a pair of the Zig Kinetica 2, it’ll release in black/orange and black/blue Purple “Digi-scape” plus gray/white/green “ARS” colorways on February 1 via Reebok Unlocked, then see a full arrival on the Reebok webstore come February 2. A “Digi-Warp” that adds giant Reebok Vector logos on the lateral and medial side alike will follow on April 1. The MSRP for each pair is set at $120 USD.
