Levi's RED SS21 Collection Remixes Classic Jeans
The sub-label’s Japanese relaunch continues with menswear items.

First seen on legendary girl group Perfume, Levi’s Japan has now rolled out its revived RED collection ahead of Spring/Summer 2021. Modeled by rapper 5lack (also known as S.L.A.C.K.), the menswear items from the collection are even more adventurous than the womenswear, drawing from the workwear inclinations of Levi’s RED’s 2003 collection.
Updated with high-end denim and contemporary construction, the capsule features a plethora of loose cuts and thoughtful touches. Alongside the classic Twist jeans, which feature warped seams that create a banana-shaped leg, there are a plethora of relaxed cuts, tapered models and even a set of baggy overalls. Rife with tall hems, contrast stitching and asymmetric pockets, the collection also introduces an oversized chore coat, several warped denim jackets, hoodies, T-shirts, matching shoulder bags and a bucket hat, all finished with aggressive stitching, relaxed cuts and the occasional quilted panel for extra warmth.

Elsewhere in Japan, the domestic branch of Lee reintroduced its World War II-era Cowboy Jeans.
