UPDATE: Nike Confirms Stateside Release Date for the Dunk Low "Medium Curry"
Spicy in name and stately in style.
UPDATE (3/15/21, 6:00 p.m. EST): After seeing launches in the Europe and Asia regions, the Nike Dunk Low “Medium Curry” has finally received a stateside release date. Nike SNKRS has confirmed that the makeup will drop on March 25th via a draw for $110 USD.
ORIGINAL STORY (01/21/21, 10:28 a.m. EST):After Nike‘s Dunk Low “Medium Curry” was first teased last fall, the spicy in name, stately in style sneaker has now received a full set of official images. Diverging from the classic basketball ethos espoused on Nike Sportswear‘s recent pack of Dunk Lows in favor of a more workwear-geared look, the “Medium Curry” mixes elevated materials and earthy hues in artful fashion.
Almost all of Nike Sportswear’s low-cut Dunks are built from leather, but the “Medium Curry” instead opts for a full suede build. On the quarter, collar and toebox, this suede is a short-haired sail. On the eyestays, mudguard and heel it’s much more shaggy and takes on the signature curry hue. Swooshes and Nike-branded heel tabs add an earth-toned “Fossil” shade into the mix with nylon tongues, white and brown fabric tongue badges, brown collar lining, sail midsoles and brown outsoles completing the look.
Early reports state that the Nike Dunk Low “Medium Curry” will release via Nike SNKRS on January 28 alongside the Dunk High “Dark Russet” but this has yet to be confirmed by the Swoosh. The MSRP will likely be set at $110 USD.
