Crocs Unveils New Collaboration With EDM Artist Vladimir Cauchemar
This marks the pair’s first partnership.
2020 was a busy year for Crocs, witnessing the immense benefits of a collaborative business model – so continuing this strategy into the new year was a no brainer.
Crocs kick off 2021 debuting a new limited-edition collaboration with the masked French EDM artist and producer, Vladimir Cauchemar. As a self-professed sneaker aficionado, Cauchemar adds his personal twist to the polarizing silhouette.
It launches in a jet-black upper contrasted with the classic Crocs logo embossed into its white outsole. The double strap features a woven fabric with the artist’s logo across the top with a buckle clip and hanging plastic carabiner. The traditional back strap gets revamped with a red elastic pull toggle to tighten around the ankle. The Vladimir Cauchemar x Crocs come with 6 complementary metallic Jibbitz charms including his signature skull mask, red tattoo hearts and his stylized name, ВЛАДИМИР КОШМAР.
To celebrate the launch of this debut partnership, Vladimir Cauchemar will host a live DJ set streamed onto the Crocs Europe Instagram page commencing at 4.40PM CET/3.30PM GMT/22.30 EST on January 28.
