Nike Sportswear Officially Announces Spring 2021 Dunk Lineup
The Swoosh’s most popular lifestyle shoe of 2020 is starting 2021 off with a bang.
After rushing back to the forefront of Nike‘s lifestyle offerings in 2020, the timeless Dunk is set to keep its momentum rolling in a major way this spring with Nike Sportswear announcing a six-style lineup. Consisting of five takes on the Dunk Low and a single Dunk High, the offerings “bring new perspective to the Dunk’s iconic colorblocking,” in the Swoosh’s own words.
The first three styles scheduled to be brought to market are all Dunk Lows, namely a classic black/white, a UNLV-esque red/gray and a women’s exclusive sail/coast. Following shortly thereafter is a white/powder blue that gives off UNC Tar Heels vibes, a black/hyper cobalt that’s reminiscent of the Tar Heels’ archrival Duke Blue Devils and the lone Dunk High, a Syracuse-style white and orange makeup that looks as if it was plucked directly from the seminal “Be True to Your School” Dunk pack.
As mentioned above, the first three styles (black/white, red/gray and sail/coast) will hit stockists over the course of January. Each released in China on January 4 and will arrive in APLA countries on January 14. The black/white will make its way to Europe on January 21, and all three will see a North America launch this spring. The black/hyper cobalt pair is set for a February 11 drop alongside a sail/orange pearl for women. The Dunk High in white and orange will release globally on March 5. Not pictured here but still releasing are a handful of other women’s styles that were leaked en masse at the end of December All pairs will be available on Nike SNKRS in their respective countries.
