Shortly after being delayed indefinitely due to the surge of COVID-19 in Japan, Studio Khara has now delivered a new TV Spot for Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.
Scored by the movie’s theme song, “One Last Kiss,” performed by Utada Hikaru, the latest promotional material is framed by emotional looks at Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa. With the bulk of the spot show a battle sequence with Mari Illustrious Makinami and Asuka Langley Soryu. EVA Unit-08 in its Beta Temporary Combat Form is seen tossing a unique dual saw weapon to battle-ready EVA Unit-02α.
