Bernie Sanders has just released a crewneck whose design is based off of his ultra-viral pose at Joe Biden and Kamala Harris‘ Presidential Inauguration.
There were certainly a wealth of highlights from the 2021 Presidential Inauguration from the singing performances to the Dior x Air Jordan 1 cameo appearance to Amanda Gorman’s captivating spoken word poem, but perhaps the person who gained the most recognition that day was Bernie Sanders. The Senator from Vermont socially distanced himself throughout the ceremony in his own chair, and pulled up in a rather more-casual-than-usual outfit, and the Internet had themselves a field day by turning his unbothered pose into a widespread social media meme.
Sanders has playfully responded by launching a simple black sweatshirt that plasters the comical, masked-up image of himself across the front. Moreover, his personal “Bernie” logo is printed out in the lower right corner in white to top off its look.
