Drake Becomes First Ever Artist to Hit 50 Billion Spotify Streams
Setting yet another record.

Despite the current three-year gap in between his full-length records, Drake continues to break and set new records.
According to Chart Data, the OVO head is now the first and only artist to hit 50 billion combined streams on Spotify. Drizzy has a total of 12 records on the streaming platform, including his debut EP So Far Gone which only landed on Spotify in February 2019 as part of its 10th anniversary.
In 2020 alone, Drake achieved several feats while he was busy cooking in the studio — he broke the record as the artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of all time, the artist with the most top 10 entries and the first male artist to debut three tracks at No. 1 on the same chart.
Fans are now awaiting the release of his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy, which is expected to drop early this year. Drake was recently spotted in the Bahamas with Meek Mill and the two were reportedly filming a new music video, although any release dates for the project are yet to be announced.
.@Drake has now surpassed 50 billion streams on Spotify across all credits. He is the first artist in history to hit this milestone.
