Contemporary R&B sensation Gallant has kicked off his 2021 by adding a new single to his discography entitled “Comeback”. This marks the former Grammy-nominated artist’s first musical release since he rolled out his song and instrumental for “Only One” during the start of Fall 2020.

The fresh and heartfelt tune is noted as the first single off of Gallant‘s forthcoming EP dubbed Neptune, and to coincide with the launch he’s also rolled out a stunning new music video.

As the song title suggests, this musical number is predicated on heartbreak and the attempt of winning your ex-lover back. In the video directed by Bennett Johnson, it starts out with the Maryland-born singer displayed calling what appears to be an ex-girlfriend of his as he tries to get back her heart over the phone. After the woman hangs up, the rest of the video shows Gallant popping up in every corner of her life including that of the books she reads, the commercials she views on TV, the bobble heads in her car and even in the pool backyard of her home. The just over three and a half minute clip concludes with a shining spotlight on the singer who spits his outro verse while his fed-up lover ignores him and walks out of the frame.

Elsewhere in music, Yams Day 2021’s virtual date and merch collaborations have been revealed.
