Raf Simons and Miuccia
Entitled “Possible Feelings”, the live-streamed show featured furry textured walls and carpets which were accompanied by a plethora of dynamic models sporting mod-esque slim-fit suits, striking haircuts and an abundance of Raf Simons-inspired looks.
If the pair’s first joint womenswear collection was said to demonstrate a fine balance between classic Prada and distinctive Raf, this first menswear offering is almost certainly more Raf-orientated.
The epochal Prada logo that adorned much of last season’s women’s collection has been portrayed in the form of triangle cutouts and knits on garments this time around, although accessories retain the classic metallic look.
As well as oozing sophistication, FW21 also boasts a mouth-watering selection of outerwear in the form of single and double-breasted coats, as well as oversized bomber jackets, executed in leather and bouclé and lined in geometric jacquards.
