FOSTEX GARMENTS Reissues Signature MA-1 Bomber Jacket in Reproduction Vintage Wash
The same blank used for Raf Simons’s grail FW01 “Riot! Riot! Riot!” bomber.
Known for supplying Raf Simons with MA-1 bomber jacket blanks for his Fall/Winter 2001 “Riot! Riot! Riot!” collection, FOSTEX GARMENTS has now re-released reproductions of the military surplus item that Raf made into an archive grail.
The reissue features the exact same pattern used for FOSTEX GARMENTS late ’90s early 2000’s releases for a vintage fit and feel. The jacket has been treaded to a heavy vintage wash that gives the cotton arctic camo exterior the same worn-in look used for Raf’s “Riot! Riot! Riot!” bombers. Aside from the unique silhouette created by the shifted padding and seam puckering, the buttons and zippers reflect an aged quality thanks to the heavy processing each jacket is subjected to.
