2 Chainz "Grey Area" Video Is a Hallucinogen-Induced Vision Featuring His Dog Trappy S. Goyard
2 Chainz imagines himself in the body of his dog, Trappy.
2 Chainz releases his latest trippy music video for the So Help Me God single, “Grey Area”.
In just under three minutes, the video features the Georgia native as his four-legged companion. In the visuals, 2 Chainz is seen dabbling in some mushrooms, which he adds to his morning smoothie, evidently giving him a hallucinogenic boost. Next, the rapper switches bodies with his dog, Trappy S. Goyard, signaling the true start of the video. Throughout the rest of the video 2 Chainz’s head is seen attached to Trappy’s body and vice versa.
As the video unravels, the dog-version of 2 Chainz replicates in tenfolds, seemingly recreating the possible multi-vision imagination from taking hallucinogens. 2 Chainz appears to be having a blast, hanging out with a female love interest and dancing with the mailman. The video ends as 2 Chainz snaps back into reality and he and Trappy revert back to their original bodies.
So Help Me God was released in November and features singles with an array of illustrious collaborators including Kanye West, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, just to name a few.
