Following its New Era® cap collaboration with Heecheon Kim, South Korea collective Dadaism Club‘s fledgling 다다DADA多多 label has now teamed up with cult-loved French accessories label D’Heygere. Coming together, the duo put together a five-piece capsule of apparel and jewelry that blends Korean and French influences.

To introduce the special range, creative director Eunuk Nam produced five short videos that feature both French and Korean dialogues. The visual campaign aims to “present the slight and subtle cultural differences [Nam has] felt for a long time while working with non-Korean speakers.”

Leading the apparel side of the collaboration is the Double Hoodie, defined by its dual-layer hood that for a uniquely stylish functional element suited for rainy weather. The playful Bottle Opener T-shirt continues the utility theme with a removable stainless steel opener plate at the front of the wearable. Referencing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Mask Cap features hardware that helps reduce the discomfort associated with the prolonged wearing of face masks. The contrast design on the front panel of the headwear features a meeting of the “多” character motif with D’heygere’s signature logo.

Rounding up the collaboration is the silver-tone Rice Necklace made up of pear elements that resemble the look of small grains of rice and the Fortune Ear Cuff crafted of Chinese jade highlights the durability, purity, beauty and auspicious nature of the prized ornamental mineral.

“A multicultural collection that makes your daily life a little bit easier and more beautiful,” the French designer Stephanie D’heygere explains. She further adds: “DADA is a collective that embodies different types of creative skills. But their approach aligns with ours; the pieces are unisex and multifunctional.” HYUKOH frontman Oh Hyuk also shares his thoughts on the project: “I like the way D’Heygere reinterprets stereotypes through the lens of fun and creativity. DADA and D’Heygere share a similar sense of humor.”

The 다다DADA多多 x D’heygere collection is set to release January 30, 11 a.m. CET (5 a.m. EST) on D’Heygere and 다다DADA多多‘s websites, alongside a BOONTHESHOP pop-up. HBX will serve as the exclusive online retailer to host a wider release on February 4.
