EA Play Joins Xbox Game Pass Without Additional Charges
‘Gears Tactics’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’ will both be launch titles.
To make its next-gen console launch even more exciting for its fans, Microsoft has now announced that Electronic Arts‘ EA Play service will be included in the Xbox Game Pass for no additional fees whatsoever, significantly increasing the amount of titles offered on the platform. The subscription-based service will be available for free as part of Xbox Game Pass’ Ultimate bundle, which will cost $24.99 USD a month, but unlocks a whole inventory of AAA games such as Battlefield V, the 2020 versions of FIFA, NFL Madden and NBA Live, as well as Titanfall 2 and Dragon Age Inquisition.
The news comes following yet another announcement that both Gears Tactics and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will now be launch titles for both the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, releasing together on November 10. Other launch titles currently confirmed include Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Destiny 2: Beyond Light and Tetris Effect: Connected.
In other gaming news, a Ninja Gaiden trilogy is rumored to release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
