ISO.POETISM by Tobias Birk Nielsen SS21 Debuts the Brand's First-Ever Footwear Offering
Hand-dyed in Italy, the PALAVY is an all-weather sneaker-boot.
ISO.POETISM by Tobias Birk Nielsen’s technical edge has been channeled into a footwear offering for the first time in the brand’s existence, launching as part of its Spring/Summer 2021 rollout. A tall sneaker/boot hybrid, the “PALAVY” is an Italian-made silhouette ideal for all-season wear, designed for everything the season can throw the wearer’s way.
Part of the SS21 “INSTINCTS” collection, the four colorways are all hand-dyed by the same artisans that piece it together from breathable knit mesh, black leather panels and hefty Vibram sole units. Given the nature of the hand-dying process, each distinct makeup is unique Designed with lightweight flexibility in mind, the tall shape ensures stability — thanks to slim laces that weave across the upper — and dry feet, the latter by way of a waterproof PU coating that shields the shoe’s front.
Stockists like HBX will receive Tobias Birk Nielsen’s warm weather collection next year, while the PALAVY will drop in February 2021.
