Indonesian label Dominate Jakarta returns for the Fall/Winter 2020 season with a new collection called “Guerilla in the Mist.” Inspired by American hip-hop group Da Lench Mob’s 1992 debut studio album Guerillas in tha Mist, the range blends ’90s hip-hop influences with utilitarian elements. The goal was to channel the album’s militant and confrontational lyrics into a rugged collection of T-shirts, crewnecks, shorts and hats.

Paisley patterns dominate this season’s collection. The print covers a two-layer nylon jacket, Hawaiian-style aloha shirt, pair of shorts and wide-brim boonie hat. Elsewhere, a short sleeve button-down shirt in satin nylon blend arrives with a bandana-style design in red, black and blue.

Other highlights include a variety of crewnecks, ranging from military-inspired olive and black to bold red and blue, as well as asymmetrical work jackets embroidered with flaming skull prints or adorned with front pockets in a bandana pattern. Rounding off the collection are Dominate Jakarta staples, like graphic-heavy T-shirts, long sleeves and hoodies, as well as printed shoulder bags.

Take a closer look at the Fall/Winter 2020 collection in the slideshow above and shop the looks now on Dominate Jakarta’s web store.
