The MoMA Design Store revealed a new collection of KAWS-themed pieces to commemorate the “KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness” exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. The capsule references some of the artists’ most loved characters, transforming them into an array of postcards, magnets and pins. Highlights of the collection include three sets of magnets depicting BFF in different colors, sets of postcards featuring notable KAWS artworks and key chains coming in the form of the artist’s heart motif.

British publisher and Banksy’s former art dealer, Steve Lazarides, has launched a new online shop called Laz Emporium dedicated to purveying a range of merchandise spanning homeware, prints, books and more. Stand-out items include the second installment to Lazarides’ recently published book Banksy Captured, anti-racism posters, graffiti-covered trolleys and original artworks such as sketches by renowned French street artist, INVADER. Most of the pieces on sale come from the dealer’s own collection, characterized as works that are “all manner of pop culture artefacts and objets d’anarchy.”

Grimes “A Decade of Grime” Charity Art Prints

Grimes is joining eBay and Maccarone Los Angeles for an exclusive series of curated art drops collectively called “A Decade of Grimes.” The three separate drops will feature new fashion designs, prints, album art and apparel, as well as a coloring book comprised of 16 original drawings by Grimes and an AI-generated poem. The first release includes six digital limited edition prints that embody each of Grimes’ albums, while the last drop will feature special edition prints bearing “failed album covers.” All of the proceeds will benefit climate-focused non-profit organization Carbon180.

AllRightsReserved has recruited Ryan Travis Christian for its latest “MEET PROJECT” installment, which allows artists to realize their two-dimensional artwork as a sculpture. Specializing in charcoal renderings, Christian transforms his illustrative birds into a bronze creation. Dubbed ASHPAN FOR SPLIFFS, ETC., the sculpture stands just over 5 inches tall, with a weighty ashtray-inspired base grounding the dark graphite-colored bird in its place. The collaborative sculpture is available in an edition of 250.

Hauser & Wirth has just released a new limited edition print by artist Mike Kelley, titled Untitled (from the Kandors series). The otherworldly work, which takes its name from Superman’s birth-city, depicts the city of Kandor contained under a red bell jar against a background of colorful forms. Kelley utilized lenticular printing techniques in order to create an illusion of three-dimensionality within the image. The print measures 30 by 21 inches and arrives in an edition of 200.
