During Sony‘s PlayStation 5 showcase, Insomniac Games showcased a first look at the gameplay from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The footage above showcases an action set-piece on a bridge, which highlights Miles‘ unique spider abilities and some cinematic cutscenes that teases the game’s story as well as the setting.

The bridge quick-time event sequence is reminiscent of a moment seen in the recent Spider-Man: Homecoming film, but instead of holding a boat at sea together, Miles is holding together a bridge to allow citizens to cross without harm. Miles’ new venom blast abilities and rechargeable camouflage for stealth are shown throughout the combat, which makes his gameplay look distinct from Peter Parker from Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4. Although the title is a gameplay demo, it is unknown if this sequence of the game will be available as a public demo before it reaches its release date.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is slated to arrive on PlayStation 5 Holiday 2020.

In other gaming news, Call of Duty: Warzone may be coming to mobile.
