TAG Heuer Ushers in the Carrera's New Age With 160th Anniversary Collection
Four luxurious Carrera Chronographs inspired by heritage.
As TAG Heuer commemorates its signature Carrera watch’s 160th anniversary, the Swiss watch experts have whipped up a quartet of updated timepieces that straddle the realms of luxury and heritage. The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph collection comprises four elevated styles that boast clean watch faces and the advanced Calibre Heuer 02 movement.
These reinterpreted Carrera models boast stainless steel bezels free from a tachymeter scale, a touch that calls back to the earliest silver-dial Carrera watches from 1963. The Calibre Heuer 02 movement is visible through the transparent caseback, hidden beneath gleaming anthtracite, silver, Sunray Blue and Opaline Black faces. The latter are strapped to a matching steel H-shaped bracelet, while the former feature a sophisticated brown alligator leather strap, with delicate adjustments made to slightly trim the shapes for a cleaner appearance.
Learn more about the celebratory Carrera models on TAG Heuer’s website, where they start at $5,350 USD.
Elsewhere, Victorinox issued rugged camo-covered NOX Carbon limited edition timepieces.
