Action Bronson Is Inspired by the World in New Album 'Only For Dolphins'
Featuring work with The Alchemist, Harry Fraud and more.

Action Bronson has dropped his sixth studio album, Only For Dolphins.
The followup to his 2018 album White Bronco — where he rapped “my next album’s only for dolphins” — the 12-track LP clocks in at 35 minutes and hears the rapper/chef’s global inspirations. Bronson is joined by guest artists Yung Mehico, Hologram and Lauren Meyhem, and his long-running crew of producers like The Alchemist, Harry Fraud, Daringer, Budgie, DJ Muggs, Tommy Mas and Samiyam to bring his artistry to life, with Only For Dolphins taking inspiration from Turkish psych, reggae, French film music, lovers rock, Russian funk.
“The dolphin is one of the most intelligent creatures ever created on whatever planet we’re on,” the MC said in a statement. “They have their own way of communicating. They have nuance and intangibles like we do.” Comparing the aquatic mammal to a “five-tool” baseball player, he adds, “The only people who understand me are those five-tool players, those higher beings who are on the same telepathic wave as me.”
