A$AP Ferg Tags Marilyn Manson, Lil Wayne and More for 'Floor Seats II'
Including a music video for “Dennis Rodman” starring Dennis Rodman.
A$AP Ferg has dropped off his latest project, Floor Seats II alongside a new music video for his single “Dennis Rodman” starring the actual Chicago Bulls legend.
The successor to August 2019’s Floor Seats, the 10-track project clocks in at almost half an hour and features guest appearances from Tyga on “Dennis Rodman,” Mulatto on “In It,” Lil Wayne and Jay Gwuapo on “No Ceilings,” Antha Pantha “Mask,” Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO on “Move Ya Hips,” ONEFOUR and Fivio Foreign on “Aussie Freaks,” Diddy on “Hectic” and, to make the most unexpected collab on the album, Marilyn Manson.
If its predecessor served as a look back at his young yet impressive career, the latest offering rightfully cements his status as a significant figure in the changing plane of hip-hop. The classic, fast-paced bars of Ferg is still evident on Floor Seats II, but cuts like “Hectic” and “Marilyn Manson” hear him experiment with the different ways he can utilize his own voice and, in turn, the project’s sonic structure. Although he reminds everyone that he’s still the “trap lord” on “Value,” Floor Seats II is proof that Ferg has more to offer.
