During CES 2020 this year, South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled its groundbreaking Odyssey G7 gaming monitor lineup, and now the company has recruited one of Esports‘ greatest — T1’s League of Legends player Faker — to craft a special limited edition for fans.
This particular G7 comes in both 27 and 32-inch sizes, and carries all of the tech the monitor debuted with, such as 1000R curved displays with VA QLED panels, a 240Hz refresh rate, QHD resolution, DisplayHDR 600, and a 1ms GTG response time. It’s also compatible with both Nvidia’s G-Sync or AMD’s FreeSync 2, and is equipped with a bunch of external add-ons like “Core” lighting and a design for clean cable management.
Of course, on top of all of these specs, the new special edition also carries a touch of Faker with it. It’s now dressed in the professional gamer’s signature colors: red and dark silver, while his autograph is signed on the lower corner of the bezel as well as the stand.
For those interested, both sizes of Samsung’s Odyssey G7 T1 Faker Edition gaming monitor will be available over on T1’s website, retailing for roughly $747 USD for the 27-inch model and $859 USD for the 32-inch model.
Elsewhere in gaming tech, Razer has now gone wireless for three of its most popular gaming peripherals.
