Maison Margiela is celebrating the release of Maison Margiela x Rebook Tabi Instapump Fury with an exclusive in-store preview at its Crosby Street boutique. The retail space also served as the only spot to shop the collaborative shoe before it was released to a wider audience earlier this week.
The attention-demanding capsule pushes the boundaries of footwear, merging the brands’ classic silhouettes into one with the Reebok Instapump Fury and Maison Margiela’s Tabi boot. For its launch, Maison Margiela has transformed its New York City store to showcase its conceptual footwear, paired with technical innovations from Reebok, reaching the rare housing of luxury and utilitarian design. The Maison Margiela Crosby Street store will be the only place in New York City where any of the shoes can be purchased. The exclusive preview of the Maison Margiela x Rebook Tabi Instapump Fury will run through Sunday, September 27.
