Tame Impala Drops Technicolor "Is It True" Visual
Taken from Kevin Parker’s latest release, ‘The Slow Rush.’
Tame Impala has shared an accompanying music video for “Is It True,” a cut from Kevin Parker‘s latest studio album The Slow Rush.
The trippy, technicolor visual is reminiscent of effects usually conjured in Tame Impala’s live sets. Parker’s profile appears on a screen and is deconstructed with colorful executions while the lyrics appear in a contrasting white hue. As he ends the song with the line “We’ll see what the future holds,” a man can be seen freely laying on the grass as if to say he’s ready for what’s about to come.
Parker previously spoke to HYPEBEAST regarding the album and briefly explained why The Slow Rush mainly focused on the idea of time. “You see how much you’ve done, how much more you have to go. And I feel like every time we finish a chapter in life or start a new one, we have that same feeling,” he said.
