8FIVE2 Reps Hong Kong's Causeway Bay in "ALL DAY" Watch Release
“Not a Rollie.”
Hong Kong’s 8FIVE2 is gearing up for a playful watch dedicated to Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay district. Led by HK OG and skate purveyor JBS (Julius Brian Siswojo), the teaser states the watch “is not a rollie” and sees a golden watch styled after the coveted Rolex Day-Date “President” and holds a green dial with the Bauhinia orchid just under the day window.
Not only was the President the watch of choice for businessmen during the golden years of Hong Kong, but the green is a nod towards the skate shop’s colors and Siswojo’s favorite color. The watch continues to reference Hong Kong with “852” appearing as the only numerals on the dial, and the JBS-coined “Hong Muthafuckin’ Kong” slogan above the 6 o’clock.
Sitting at 40mm in case size, the “ALL DAY” watch houses a Miyota quartz movement, sees gold plating, a steel bracelet, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters. Look for the watch to drop on August 8 over at 8FIVE2 for a price of $1,680 HKD (approximately $217 USD).
