Upcoming Mac Miller Project Calls for Fan Participation
Urging listeners to share their “stories, thoughts and wishes.”

A new Mac Miller project is on the way and the late rapper’s team is calling for fans to take part in its creation.
Officially announced by Warner Records, the label released a short but touching statement on the untitled body of work. Although the team didn’t specify what form the project will take, they did confirm that it will “celebrate Malcolm and his music” and fans are urged to share their “stories, thoughts and wishes as part of this project” using a toll-free phone number.
“His art touched so many lives, in so many ways,” the statement read. “Your offerings are deeply appreciated.”
The late rapper’s first posthumous album Circles was released in January 2020 while its deluxe counterpart dropped in March. Acting as a complementary project to his 2018 studio album Swimming, the project was finished with producer Jon Brion and is included in HYPEBEAST’s Top 25 Albums of 2020… So Far list.
