Timex Opens up the Pac-Man T80 for General Release
After its debut last year.

Thanks to its popularity during its original debut in late 2019, American watchmaker Timex is now bringing back the retro Pac-Man T80 for a wider, global release.
The watch face itself is adorned with arcade-styled graphics of the massive ’80s hit arcade game and available in three color options: gold-toned, stainless steel, and a black PVD finish. All three come with a stainless steel bracelet measuring 18mm at the lugs where it connects to an octagonal case that’s 34mm wide, and include features such as a stopwatch, timer, Indiglo backlighting, a date display, 30 meters water resistance, and even an alarm that rings with the original Pac-Man melody.
“The PAC-MAN T80 marries the popularity of the arcade game with the retro popularity of the T80 digital design, in turn creating a timepiece that fosters fondness and nostalgia in its wearers,” says Silvio Leonardi, senior vice president of Timex. “Now, following the success achieved after ComplexCon in the fall, we are excited to offer the T80 globally. Customers and fans should anticipate even more to come as we celebrate the anniversary.”
For those interested, the Timex Pac-Man T80 will be available in the U.S. on July 7 over on the watchmaker’s website, with a global release following in August, retailing at $80 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, Porsche Design is now offering a custom build-your-own-watch program.
