After releasing Pantone Connect for free in April, the company has unveiled a new tool for quicker shade matching: the Pantone Color Match Card.

With dimensions similar to a traditional credit card’s, the Pantone Color Match Card offers a portable and more affordable option for color searching. To utilize the card, Pantone Connect must be downloaded on a smartphone with the “Measure” feature open. Users must then place the small Pantone Color Match Card on top of a solid color and align the phone camera to a certain angle. Pantone Connect will take a moment to select the closest matching shade of the solid color, and will provide the ideal color and several alternative hues.

Watch the demo above and purchase the Pantone Color Match Card on the Pantone website for $15 USD.
